Myself and my colleagues spent a couple of months living at this Ibis. The staff were exceptionally friendly and kind. It was a memorable stay. We’ve actually accidentally left a piñata at reception (under Megan Wilson) - which we no longer need. If anyone would like the piñata, please feel free to have it and enjoy it. Thanks again! Love x

A great Hotel to stay at when visiting Portsmouth. Friendly helpful staff, clean and has a large lounge are to relax in. Close to the Historic Docks, a 10 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk and attractions and All with factory outlets. Also only a 10 minute drive to the cross channel ferry terminals. Plenty of good pubs and restaurants in the area.

Short one night stay on boxing day, this hotel we found very pleasant and clean. The bed rooms are small but very comfortable and clean. We didnt have breakfast but ate dinner in the restaurant, and although service was slow the food was tasty. All in all we would stay again for sure

Staff very pleasant on check in and the whole reception area was very welcoming as it was decorated for Christmas. The room is modern, albeit small, as you'd have a few problems using the toilet or shower if you was bigger than average as it's quite tight. Apart from that, it was great, everything you needed.

I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times. I think it's good value for money, it's in an excellent location. The beds are very comfortable. The only issue is the tiny bathroom and the very inconvenient shower. I have to give a special shout out to the housekeeping team, who were able to find an important lost item for me recently!

We only stayed for a few hours waiting for a ferry but it was enjoyable. The room was small but well designed and maintained. It’s dog friendly with a nice lounge and friendly staff so we will return and spend some time in Portsmouth

Popped to Portsmouth for family and a production, ended up with a sleep over, not to much not to little in atmosphere just right, not noisy, great welcoming staff, helpful and in a shar d twin with unexpected disability shower access, worth its weight in gold, clean, comfortable, tv, side lights, port holes, (lived the naval take upon the hotel windows that unlatch) quite quaint. Beds a bit narrow but we never fell off, beds a bit close so don't sleep next to a avid night time sleep walk type puncher ( you could always tip and tail) large full length mirror. I desk and chair a wee coffee table and a wee bench, also available fan, hairdryer and spare pillow. Can request from receptionist more tea/coffee/sugar/milk. Booked in advance well worth the cost with the breakfast added at time of booking (not keen on their sausages) pretty much self service. Accidentally pressed help call alarm, sat to the back of bed found it behind pillow, staff member attended with polite knock and call out through the door, had no clue it was there. But so good to know they work and reaction time fabulous. Lifts available. Really enjoyed stating the night. Post visit photos, all tidy and tucked away in arrival.

Quite a dark decor in the interior, carried over into the rooms. I was checked in by a young woman who was very slow and made no eye contact with guests. It seemed like English was a second language, like a few of the staff, she was SE Asian I think. Bar was okay, food quality hit and miss. I had as really nice burger when I first arrived, but breakfast was nothing to write home about. I had full English for £12. It's a self service buffet. Dry, insipid scrambled egg, no fried eggs available and dry, luke warm bacon. Decent sausages and mushrooms. But not great for the price. I later ordered toastie at the bar, wgen it came it was so over done the toast was black and squashed flat. The room had a comfortable bed, but the shower room was tiny and cramped.
